Another very successful year with outstanding results. A particular highlight is the introduction of solar-powered pumps. For example, we installed a solar pump at the Mekalu Tree Nursery – the very same nursery where we began our first project 25 years ago with the delivery of a diesel pump. Another significant step is the handover of the presidency from Kurt Pfister to Alexander Hasler, thus establishing structures for many more successful years of reforestation and improving lives in Ethiopia.
